The present work mainly focuses on the reactivity of monoterpenes like Carenes, Pinenes and their derivatives, which has vinylcyclopropane or vinylcyclobutane linkage. These moieties were well known to rearrange by treating with acid, radical attack, pyrolysis, etc., to give structurally interesting compounds
