    Abstract
These studies have shown that the dithiocarbamates are not oxidised either in solution or at the surfaces of sulphide minerals. Such an oxidation is not a prerequisite for the adsorption of these collectors at the sulphide minerals. Dialkyldithiocarbamates are superior to alkyl xanthates in the selective flotation of sulphide minerals.
