Investigation of Arsenic Selenium Glasses
Abstract
This thesis is based on detailed investigations of a variety of
physical properties of As-Se glasses. Variation of composition in As-Se
glasses results in non-isovalent substitution of the elements. Studies reported
in this thesis support the applicability of chemically ordered network model to
such non-isovalently substituted glasses. Further, the transport properties
have been found to be characterized by the formation of charged defect pairs
