dc.description.abstract | Research work presented in the thesis involves fundamental studies on photorechargeable and solid-state energy storage devices. Lead-free perovskite (CsBi3I10) and a mixed chalcogenide (MoSeTe) based electrodes lead to efficient Zn-ion and Li-ion batteries. In the second section, interfacial characteristics in all solid-state lithium-ion batteries are tuned using dilithium phthalocyanine as an interlayer. Use of dilithium phthalocyanine as an ionically conducting component leads to a gel polymer electrolyte resulting in quasi-solid-state lithium-ion batteries that reveal good charge-discharge behaviour. | en_US |
