Graphene Oxide (GO) and functionalized Carbon nanotubes (FCNT) are promising materials in the field of polymer composites due to their ability to disperse nicely in the polymer matrix. The functional groups present in these materials are responsible for the dispersion in polymers to form homogeneous composites. PVDF is one such polymer that employs GO and FCNT as fillers. PVDF, a thermoplastic polymer, gained much attention in the past few decades due to its semi-crystallinity, polar phases, higher permittivity compared to other polymers, flexibility, and ease of preparing composites. PVDF composites are potential materials for a wide range of applications.
