Abstract
The thesis entitled "SYNTHETIC INVESTIGATIONS ON TERPENOIDS" consists of two chapters. Chapter I deals with the total synthesis of the sesquiterpenes, 2-pupukeanone 1 Norpatchoulenol 2 and patchouli alcohol 3 and is divided into four sections.
